More stuff for Wayne.. At 25 weeks

Went to Tanjong Pagar to meet Xiujuan for lunch today, and came across this shop selling ultra cute socks and shoes for kids, called MyLittleFeet. Bought a pair of socks for Wayne, light blue in color with a pacifier, its so cute!! And it costs just $2.90.

And in the evening, HK and I were shopping at Vivo and bought Wayne some clothes from Pumpkin Patch! A set of 3 short sleeve bodysuits. =)=)=) This time we bought the 3-6 months size cos we figured Wayne probably has enough of the 0-3 months sizes. And, if he is a big baby as Dr Lee predicted, then he'd probably outgrow the smaller ones pretty fast.

Wayne Wayne, he has been so active lately. Jumping, wriggling and playing with himself so much these days. And his actions are getting pretty rough too. Hehe. Boys will always be boys eh! Our precious little Wayne Wayne, mommy feels so happy to be able to feel you moving inside mommy's tummy!

Bought Wayne's stroller & car seat - Thanks Mom & Dad!!!.. At 23 weeks

Bought Wayne's stroller & car seat today! The Quinny Buzz in sulphur colour (which is lime green actually) and a black Maxi Cosi Cabrio car seat!

We were set on buying the Bugaboo Bee for the past couple of weeks, love that stroller, till we happen to see this toddler in it one day at Tanglin Mall. He was probably a year and a half old, and he seemed too big for the stroller already. That was always our concern, that the Bee's seat looked a little too narrow and short... After seeing that little boy, I guess we knew it wasnt too practical getting the Bee.

And, at the same time, we also happened to discover the Buzz's amazing automatic unfolding! Was at the Baby Hypermart at Kaki Bukit, and the sales staff demonstrated the folding and unfolding of the Buzz and HK was IMPRESSED. It was really easy. Just a tug on the handle, and the Buzz unfolds automatically. Idiot proof. Very simple. Very convenient. Good for someone like me. =) Compared to the Bee, this was really easy.

Yeps, this is the color that we got.

Only drawback of the Buzz was its weight. Its 12kg. Compared to the Bee at 7.8kg. Well, hopefully I wont need to carry it around much. Its manageable if I detach the seat from the stands. And for the first year, we'll prob be using the Maxi Cosi Cabrio instead of the Buzz's seat. But well it still is heavy la.

Had a hard time choosing the color of the car seat. Well, our car seats are red in color, so that only left us with either black or red for the Maxi Cosi Cabrio. The shade that the red came in wasnt really very nice but the black seemed boring! Well, went with the black in the end. Can brighten it up with those mobile hanging toys.

Both the above are presents from our parents!!

Thanks mommy & daddy!!!! The stroller is from HK's parents while the car seat is from my parents!!! Hugs!!!!

Gynae Visit #5 - Its definitely Wayne!!... At 22 weeks

Its 100% a boy! Its definitely Wayne Chan!!! =)

Finally confirmed the gender of our baby! Went for the detailed scan today at Prof Ananda's clinic at Camden. Now we can do serious shopping!!! Hehe. Finally!

And guess what, our little Wayne at 22 weeks is BIG!!! My tummy doesnt look that big leh?? But the detailed scan showed that his head, abdomen, limbs were all above average. Okay, not just above average, it was at the maximum of the scale. In fact, his measurements were the average of babies at 23-24 weeks. Dr Lee even asked me to monitor my sugar intake.. ooops. And we'll have to monitor his size, so that we will be prepared if indeed he continues to be big, cos big babies may mean difficult labour. Uh ohh.. scared.

He must have taken after his daddy. Big. =)

Mommy & daddy are so proud of you. You are our precious little Wayne. Mommy & daddy loves you so very very very much. Mommy doesnt care if Wayne Wayne grows up too big and mommy has a difficult labour. As long as Wayne Wayne is healthy, mommy won't mind going through any hardship for you at all, you know that Wayne? Sweet Wayne Wayne.
