Christmas came on the 28th

Christmas came a little late this year. No thanks to the last few days spent at the hospital. With Amanda, Wayne and myself totally sick, and with Wayne apart from us, christmas cheer was really at a zero.

Thankfully, we still had that wee bit of christmas-sy mood this year with our yearly family christmas party. With the turkey and ham, christmas present exchange and colorful party hats - we had a jolly fun time with the family!

A bit belated, but we hope everyone had a really good christmas this year! Especially to Mich, Terry and our dearest Gabe, we miss and love you guys a lot! Hope we will be able to celebrate 2013's christmas together!

Morning of sunshine and greenery at Botanic Gardens

Starting the first weekend of the new year with warm sunshine and ample greenery! Coupled with family time with yeye, nainai and ah-por, it sure was a great way to spend the morning. 

Wayne loves the open grass area at Botanic Gardens and never tires of running up and down and around the field. Considering how little exercise I do, all the chasing (after him!) I did that day was a good workout for me too. The day Amanda starts walking and running, I can already imagine how much fun it will be (Yay! I can't wait!). Add in Kate.. and the three of them can go crazy together, running and playing. I foresee us adults lying and nua-ing on the grass (that's not bad an idea too.. ), the moment the kids have their own company in play. 

And of course, at Botanic, with the soft sunshine on our faces and greenery, the photos taken are always simply beautiful.

 

The kids need to spend more time outdoors, and that's hopefully something we can do more often in the new year. Good for the kids and good for the adults. A healthy start to a new year!!!
