Moments with Wayne

While mommy was eating yoghurt:

Wayne: Wayne too.
Mommy: Wayne, you are always stealing my food.
Wayne: No, share....
Mommy: Okay, share.. later you have to share your milk with mommy too.
Wayne: Noooo.... Mommy too big. Wayne small, can drink milk. Mommy drink coffee.

After talking on the phone with grandma, grandpa and xiao-yi:

Wayne: Wayne talk grandma, grandpa, yiyi... dog? Dog no talk.
Mommy: Muffin cant talk on the phone, Wayne..
Wayne: Can.. dog can.. Muffin, paw paw? *talking to Muffin*

Picnic in the sun

We had one of the best picnics in a long long while! Its been a really long time since the family last had a picnic together. And it was fun!!!

We went to Botanic Gardens, arrived at 4plus in the afternoon and had a jolly fun time for the next three hours. Mommy, Daddy, Wayne, grandpa, grandma, Uncle Ken, San-yi and Xiao-yi were all there.. plus 3 special add-on to our family, mommy's secondary school friend Aunty Yuwen, Uncle KK and Baby Megan!

No picnic is complete with yummy food, and we made sure we had plenty! San-yi & Uncle Ken came with fruits - strawberries, grapes, watermelon, papaya, pineapples - and keropoks, mommy & daddy prepared cocktail sausages & drinks, grandma and grandpa brought sandwiches, Aunty Yuwen and Uncle KK came with curry-puffs and xiao yi... came EMPTY HANDED! (But ate the most food -_-) .

Wayne Wayne had such an awesome time.. he really impressed mommy & daddy with his stamina!! He spent almost the whole three hours running around.. he had such a blast. So full of energy, I think we need to bring him to such open space more often for him to expend his energy.

Hehe, and we decked him out in a Liverpool jersey set complete with footballer's socks! He looks so cute!!!! And he loved the outfit!! He loved the red.. as it was the same color as "James" from Thomas & Friends.

Luckily there was San-yi, Uncle Ken and Xiao-yi to run with Wayne too!

Daddy tired out and wanting to lie down... but Wayne didnt allow that! Wayne kept lifting his head up, asking him to get up!

While Wayne got all sweaty (seriously sweaty... his hair was totally wet & fringe 'plastered' to his forehead).. sweet baby Megan was all pretty & comfortable on the mat. She loved this colorful Gymbo ball & was happy just watching all of us bustle around...

And we also had 'bubble time' which got Wayne even more excited and happy chasing after the bubbles!!

And to add to the already very fun outing, we had a 'wannabe' magician trying to impress and entertain the group with his... err.... magic ball handling..

Chatting as the evening went by...and we soon had to pack up and say goodbye.. but not before we took some family photos together.

Missing little Gabe

Hello Little Gabriel... How are you doing? Er-yi misses you! And so does your Wayne kor-kor and Uncle HK!

You turn 3 months today! Happy 3 months old little Gabe! Er-yi can see you've grown much bigger since the time you were born, thanks to your mommy & daddy who have been taking good care of you!

Its been a tough 3 months for you, having to go through an operation at such a tender age. You are truly a strong courageous little boy! Er-yi is so proud of you having gone through so much and yet remaining so strong. Dont worry, things will only get better from now, oki?

Er-yi loves these set of photos of you (stolen from your blog).. you look so cute and adorable with your spunky hair and big round eyes. When are you coming back to Singapore to visit us? Pester your mommy & daddy to come back earlier ok? Er-yi wants to cuddle and carry you!

Happy Sunday

Loving Uncle Ken and San-yi.

Taken at Taste Dynasty at Ion. The food was really yummy. Love the braised eggs, cold tofu with century eggs and sweet & sour soup.

Headed to H&M thereafter, still with a long queue snaking outside. But guess what? Thanks to Wayne, we could zoom straight in, I bet all those in queue wished they had heeded the governments plea for more babies. Elaine wanted to make some money out of Wayne, loaning him to those desperate to skip the queue. Haha. Luckily mommy was with you Wayne, if not I bet xiao-yi would be making lots of quick bucks.

Yay, bought a green polka dotted skirt for myself... and daddy chose a pair of red jeans for Wayne which he wants to pair with a checked blue shirt also from H&M. Erm......bright red & bright blue... Should mommy intervene? Or leave you in the hands of daddy?

And finally had a taste of coffee from the much heard of Oriole. Coffee was good.

Today, mommy also realized how much Wayne is talking now. He's been talking non-stop... Most of the time to himself. Sometimes understandable sometimes not. Haha. Mommy loves you.

This screenshot from my Ipad appears after completing one of Wayne's puzzle games and each time Wayne completes the puzzle and we see this helicopter, mommy would go "Well done Wayne!".

This particular time, after Wayne completed the puzzle, Wayne shouted to himself "Good done Wayne!". Haha.

First time to Fidgets!

Wayne has been having so much fun this week.. On Friday it was swimming, on Sunday the beach and now on Tuesday he was off to Fidgets, an indoor playground at Turf City.

This trip turned out a lot more fun than expected! Thanks to kor-kor Justin and kor-kor Samuel, Wayne's two new friends who played with him and took such good care of him teaching him how to climb through all the structures and obstacles.

Wayne is also at a better age now to really enjoy the playground. In the past, he was too timid and didnt dare to explore the place himself, often just sticking to the ball pool area (harmless) and the infant area. This time, he has upgraded himself to the bigger play area for young kids! He climbed up and down the structures himself (mommy was impressed!), had rides on the giant slides with yi-yi and ran like crazy chasing after his friends.

He behaved like a real boy! Climbing up and down! Go Diego Go! He loved it when we called him Diego. Yi-yi even got herself upgraded to being "Diego" by little Wayne through this play session.

We soon made friends with two really cute boys, Samuel & Justin and they took a real liking to Wayne and yi-yi, playing together for the next hour. Wayne loved to follow whatever they did.

Here, he followed the kor kor's up this structure. Wayne was a good climber!

And he was really brave too attempting these giant long tunnels with yiyi.. mommy didnt even dare to go down in them!!!

See how happy they were together! Oh when Wayne first saw kor kor Justin (the one in yellow), he pointed to his t-shirt and said "angry bird" surprising mommy & yiyi! Wayne, mommy didnt know you knew what were angry birds! Have you been secretly playing the game on mommy's iphone???

Mommy likes seeing Wayne playing with other children. With Wayne now able to climb so well, these indoor playgrounds are sure in our list of places to go on weekends!!
