Our joy in life - the breakfast.. not the kids. Lol.
One of our favourite weekend morning activities - having breakfast in one of the cafes below our place. Convenient as it may be, we don't do this often enough. But the times we do, oh what joy it brings as we relax over delish food and perk-me-up coffee. Its all very casual and chill, which is good as we don't have to worry much about the kids making a mess or creating a ruckus at the breakfast table. The kids very much enjoy the morning air, pointing out and shouting 'dog dog' each time they spot one and watching fellow skate scooting children (mostly ang-moh and Japanese) go by. Occasionally, they spot some children playing with bubbles by the river and its such a treat for them to chase after the bubbles, just as how they did this morning. Amanda has just started attempting the skate scooter and I bet she'd get the hang of it real soon, so its time to get another scooter for her and let her roam wild with her already-an-expert kor-kor. I think daddy will need one too just to keep up with the two. Heck, make that one for me too, lest I be left behind.
A short morning out of the house and we all go home feeling that bit happier. And sweaty, yes!
