Presents for Wayne.. At 33 weeks

Wayne darling, today we bought the cute little giraffe that mommy & daddy promised you!! Hope you will like it Wayne Wayne! This cute little giraffe will be Wayne Wayne's little friend and will follow you whereever you go next time oki? Little giraffe will always be there for Wayne Wayne, giving you comfort when you need it and accompanying Wayne Wayne when you feel lonely. Just as how mommy & daddy will always be there for you, cos you are our precious little boy! Mommy and daddy love you so so much already Wayne Wayne!

And today, your big aunt and uncle, Aunty Michelle & Uncle Terry, bought you alot of new clothes! Very cute ones from Obaibi and Esprit. Wayne Wayne, must thank Aunty Michelle and Uncle Terry oki! Wayne baby will look so cute in all the clothes, mommy is sure! Cute little Wayne, mommy & daddy can't wait for you to be out. Mommy will dress you up in all the cutest clothes and take lots of pictures of you! And Wayne Wayne will be running around playing; you will be mommy and daddy's cutest little boy!

Hi my little Wayne, mommy's wondering how you are doing today? Mommy cant wait to see you. =) Mommy went to Raffles Place during lunch today and went to the baby shops to see if there were any cute things to buy for you.

Mommy and daddy will be buying a cute little giraffe to welcome you when you first come out. This giraffe will be by your side to give you comfort and for you to play with k. Hope Wayne Wayne will like it alot. =)

Mommy cant wait to see you Wayne baby.. At 33 weeks

Hello my little Wayne Wayne, today you have been so active, keep jumping around in mommy's tummy. You keep punching mommy's tummy right at the sides. Mommy keep asking you to move back to the centre but Wayne Wayne refuses to. Hehe.. After a while, you will go back to the sides again. Its painful but mommy loves you so much and feel so happy being able to feel you move inside me, that despite the pain, mommy just loves you even more when you do that and feel you are so so adorable. And mommy knows you are a strong boy cos sometimes you can push really really hard. =)

Mommy and daddy are so excited and cant wait to see you.. each day passes so fast, you could be out in just one month - you will be full term on 18 April! Mommy always tells you, you must be a good boy.. you must take all of mommy's nutrients k and grow into a strong and healthy boy. And mommy wants you to grow up being just like daddy. Cos daddy is such a good person.. so mommy wants Wayne Wayne to be just like daddy. =)

Mommy and daddy loves you Wayne Wayne. We will see you very very soon. Hugs hugs hugs.

Antenatal class #1.. At 33 weeks

Went for our first antenatal class at AMK Hub today. We are starting the class really late. So late that for our last lesson, which is the doctor's talk, we had to join the class from the last session. When these round of classes finishes, I'd already be full term. Initially, we didnt want to attend as we thought we could learn most of the stuff through books but at the last minute we thought we should just attend and pick up any useful tips since we are both first time parents.

Did some stretching and breathing exercises and then there was some guidance and advise given on nutritions. A tad boring but.. I also realised that I've been eating alot. Really alot. It was quite funny cos the teacher was asking a few of us to share what we've eaten since the night before till the class, and the mom's there seem to be really healthy eating sandwiches, chicken salad, brocolli porridge.. really healthy right.. and there I was with HK going through what I ate since dinner on Sat, and here goes..

Started with a bowl of Katsu-don and some Japanese BBQ skewers (pork, beef, chicken, mushrooms, etc) then had Japanese desserts (cheesecake, sesame ice cream, green tea ice cream). Then we went to Awfully Chocolate and ate another ice cream. After which,we headed to Christina's house, had potato chips and then when HK fetched me home close to midnight, we had supper, shared a spring chicken with him. Uh oh. I am such a GLUTTON.

Towels for Wayne.. At 32 weeks

Bought some cuddle dry towels in blue & white from Mothercare Centrepoint. Realised that the towel we bought at Tangs was too big for infants. So got smaller ones, where there is a pocket to cover the babies head in it. Cute.

Gynae visit #9.. At 32 weeks

Today was such a fulfilling day, managed to get a few things done! First, went for my gynae's check up.

As always, mommy & daddy felt so happy being able to see little Wayne Wayne in mommy's tummy! Today, during the scan, Wayne Wayne's mouth was wide open. And Wayne Wayne was so active, kicking and turning about during the scan. Wayne Wayne is really the cutest little boy in our eyes! Dr Lee also mentioned that Wayne Wayne is growing well - yay! Thats the most important thing to mommy & daddy!

We also bought our little Wayne's bedding set from The First Years at Paragon. Its a Safari themed bedding set with a few animals on the quilt cover. Mommy & daddy hopes Wayne will love it!

Then we attended a breastfeeding talk at Meritus Mandarin, organised by Avent. It was quite useful, and the refreshments were quite good too! =p

Next stop was to the Taka baby fair where we bought 3 packet of diapers, some in Newborn sizes and some in S. And we got a free bodysuit too with the purchase.

Lastly, dropped by the Baby Hypermart at Kaki Bukit to check out the changing tables (they had none) and bought a bath tub for Wayne. A clean white one. =)

Studio Loft photoshoot .. At 32 weeks

Went for our photoshoot at Studio Loft today! Had a busy day preparing and it was all over in an hour. =) Started the day with my manicure & pedicure session, before going down to town to get my make up done at Bobbi Brown and hair done at Reds. Really loved my make up, thought I looked pretty. Hair was oki only, just did a simple half tied up. And we really enjoyed the shoot.

Problem was the photos! I looked so fat - my face! Yes I know I'm pregnant and I've put on alot of weight but I looked so so so much fatter in the photos! Depressing. Cos I felt really pretty with my make up and outfit and all but the outcome was not nice! So sad! Out of all the photos, I realised all those I felt were oki and nice were those which either was taken from super far away, or those which had my face cut off, just focusing on my belly. Hehe.

But it was quite fun overall la, cos I took some semi nude and nude ones too.. of cos with the vital parts strategically covered up. And I really really love my tummy. Kiss kiss. =)

Wayne baby, next time when you grow up, mommy will show you all these photos of mommy & daddy oki? You will see mommy's big tummy, which is where Wayne baby has been living in for the past 8 months! Mommy and daddy hope Wayne Wayne is enjoying yourself in mommy's big tummy!

Cordlife banking .. At 31 weeks

Signed up for the cordlife banking today. Took up the 10 year plan, which is renewable at the end of the 10 years. =)

TMC Antenatal class.. At 31 weeks

Went for the TMC Antenatal class - Doctor's talk session today at SCGS. It was quite useful, learnt quite a bit about the labour process. The various stages of labour and the various pain relief options available. Made me feel quite nervous about the delivery though. Shivers.

Tangs sale.. At 30 weeks

Went to the Tangs sales during lunch today and bought a bath towel and booties for Wayne, as well as the Clarins Body treatment Oil (my 3rd bottle!) plus the High Definition Body Lift (more for post pregnancy but I've started using that on my thighs now).

Darling Wayne, mommy is really very scared of being fat and having lots of stretch marks. Baby must protect mommy from stretch marks and make sure mommy doesnt put on too much weight by taking all the nutrients in mommy's body oki?

Waterproof pants and thermometer for Wayne.. At 30 weeks

Went to Tanglin Mall after work today, bought a polka dotted waterproof pants to wear over cloth nappies from Mothers Work as well as some face towels for Wayne. Also, collected the thermometer I purhased online via Shimin. Its a 3-in-1 thermometer.. Le petit .. selling for $109 at Mothers Work but I bought it for $79 only.

Baby Festival at Expo.. At 30 weeks

Went to the Baby Festival fair at Expo today, bought our mattress, mattress protector and a baby pillow from Baby Safe. Happy! Think we got quite a good deal as the prices were much cheaper than the original prices, think it was about 30% cheaper. We got our mattress at $120, I think its normally selling for $170. Same for our pillow, we got it at $12.50 with the original price at arounf $18.

Also, got Cordlife to arrange for a consultant to meet up with us at our home next week. Cos there were lots of people at the fair and we didnt want to wait and squeeze.

Gynae Visit #8.. At 30 weeks

Yippee, passed my glucose test! a healthy 5.5 =)

After a few days of curbing my desserts craving, i can pig out again! hehe.. not that i really curbed it la.. met cheryl and alice on wed, (just 2 days after my monday urine test scare) and we had ice cream at swensens.. and i ate most of it though we were supposed to share! Sigh, I have such a sweet tooth.

Weight 55.7kg

Wayne baby, at the rate mommy is eating desserts, mommy is sure Wayne Wayne will grow up addicted to desserts next time too! Cos mommy has been eating so much desserts when mommy is pregnant, that means that Wayne Wayne has been eating alot of desserts in mommy's tummy too! Canele... yum yum yum.. mommy's favorite dessert place!

Diarrhoea at Gynae Visit #7.. but Wayne Wayne was cute as ever.. At 29 weeks

Had diarrhoea last night.. ergh.. woke up twice in the middle of the night.. and went to the toilet once more in the morning. Worried it may affect Wayne, so went to see Dr Lee at noon and took the remaining day off. Got some 'safe for pregnancy' medicine from Dr Lee too.

Since I was there, we decided to do a check on Wayne so that we didnt have to come back again on Saturday (our original appointment was the coming Saturday 28 Feb) and our little Wayne was so adorable. He had his leg way up, right over his head. His funny position brought much laughter to Dr Lee and myself. A gymnast in training perhaps? Hehe. Our little Wayne Wayne. =) Mommy & daddy cant wait to see what kind of personality you will have when you are out darling. Mommy thinks Wayne Wayne will be such a cheeky baby from your actions!

Oh yes, I tested my urine and my sugar level was a wee bit high.. probably cos I had snacked on grapes in the morning before going down to Dr Lee's. So have to take a more detailed test on Saturday - via a blood test. Better cut down on my desserts!

Lucky lucky Wayne! .. At 29 weeks

Attended the First Mom's Congress 2009 and guess what??? Wayne is so lucky!!! There was a lucky draw and out of the 800 or so participants, we won the grand prize!! A hamper and $1000 worth of milk powder for our darling Wayne! =)=)=)

Ohh, the winning number was 0459!

Zoe Tay & Ivy Lee were the celebrity guests at the talk and Zoe was the one who picked our winning number, we were so shocked when we realised it was us, so so lucky! I kept laughing till I teared, hehe.

Lucky little baby Wayne!!! Mommy and daddy are so proud of you! Cos we know its little Wayne that gave us the luck! Mommy hopes Wayne Wayne will continue to be a lucky little boy from baby all the way till Wayne's a big boy.

The week of shopping.. At 28 weeks

Woke up early today to meet Jiemei for breakfast today, and did some shopping after that. I'm into my 7 months now and I had not bought any real maternity clothes, so decided to get some! A black pencil line skirt for work. =)

Went to Vivo at lunch today. Received an email promo that Egg Maternity was having some sale so decided to pop by and see if I could find anything nice for myself or Wayne. Got a black capri pants, no sale though, costs $115. Its quite hard to find fitted pants, maternity pants are normally really baggy so decided to get this. =)

Bought a pair of sandals from River Island too. Really love their clothes, especially their work wear! They have the cutest skirts and shift dresses. Told HK, after I give birth, I'm going to go on a shopping spree and change my whole work wear wardrobe. I better be able to squeeze into my size 6 or 8 man!!!!

Signed up for the First Mom's Congress 2009 this Saturday as well. Mom, Elaine, Esther and Siong-ge will be going too.. so 6 of us in total this Sat. Kinda feels like we are going for an outing. Hehe.

Went shopping at Suntec with Joan & Ophelia today during lunch. Went to Spring to look for white berms but they didnt have it in my size. Bought a nursing top though. Its a plain black spag nursing top. $35.90. Simple and nice.

Shopping again - fourth time this week! Bought 2 bras from Mothers en Vogue today during lunch. Its really soft and comfy cos its seamless and can be worn pre and post natal. Also suitable for nursing. $50 for 2, got it in white and grey. =) Super super comfy man!!!

Daddy wants Wayne to grow up musically inclined! .. At 27 weeks

Its the Mozart Effect set of 3 CDs! Daddy wants you to grow up playing the piano!! =)

See how much Daddy loves you.. Daddy says he is going to play the CD in the car whenever we are travelling on the road and also when we are at home. The music is supposed to calm Wayne Wayne down and make Wayne Wayne feel happy. And hopefully, next time when mommy & daddy enrol Wayne Wayne for piano lessons, Wayne Wayne will show some talent! =)

Cot has arrived.. At 27 weeks
