The first bite

At 18 months, Amanda is one feisty girl. Smaller in size than kor kor, but definitely not in attitude. And this morning, korkor got a taste of her feistiness when in the midst of their fight, she decided to sink her teeth into the flesh of his arm. Haha. I guess it wasn’t too painful as Wayne didn’t shed a tear. He just complained to us. Hehe.

Well, this biting incident is not that much of a surprise to us. Since the time Amanda was barely a year old, she was already capable of squabbling with Wayne. Usually it revolves around Wayne’s trains. He would build his train tracks all over the floor and Amanda would come destroy them. Well, actually to her, she was just trying to join in the fun seeing how much fun korkor was having, pushing his trains around but of course, she destroyed some tracks in the process.  Well well.. this is part of them growing up together. Most times, they happily play with each other and Amanda being the younger one, simply adores korkor, always looking for him the first thing in the morning when she wakes up and imitating all that he does. As for Wayne, he is very much the protective korkor, looking out for her and planting random hugs and kisses at the most unexpected moments. As they say, blood is thicker than water and fight as they might, I’m sure these two will remain close to each other – that’s what sibling love is about, and mommy and daddy will make sure they grow up with this value close to their heart forever.
