Daddy got really disappointed during our recent family outing to the Flyer.. not with the Flyer but with his little boy, Wayne.
For some strange reason, Wayne was afraid to get up the Flyer. Although it had just been half a year back in November during mommy's birthday, that we brought him up and he enjoyed the ride a lot. In fact, lately, each time we drove pass the Flyer, Wayne would tell us that he wanted to have a ride on it. So daddy planned a trip there last weekend, but just as we reached the entrance of the carriage, he started crying and saying he was scared and that he didn't want to go in.
No amount of coaxing and assurance from mommy worked... so in the end, the whole family, which included grandma, Uncle Ken & San-yi, had to turn back. Thankfully, the staff allowed us to re-use the tickets for another time.
Daddy couldn't understand why he was scared and what there was to be scared of.. well, neither can mommy but I guess if he is not ready, mommy doesn't want to force him either.
Hehe, when mommy asked Wayne that night "Is daddy angry with you for not going up the Flyer?" Wayne replied.. "No, not angry, momma.... disappointed. " Hehe, I wonder if he even knows the meaning of the word disappointed.
Nevertheless, we still managed some fun moments having ice cream, taking photos and having dinner at the old hawker street area. Till the next time you are ready, Wayne!!!!!

And till the next time, when I overcome my fear.....
Was it a group ticket? Otherwise, maybe some of you should have taken the ride on the flyer, and when Wayne saw that there was nothing to be afraid of, he might have changed his mind then.
