“Byeeeeeeeeeeee!” Wayne loves to shout to the train each time he sees a MRT train pass by, with hands waving.
Seeing how he loves to look at the trains go by, this weekend we brought Wayne for a ride on the MRT. And the little boy sure enjoyed it, smiling as he stood alone in the train, both hands holding on tightly to the railing. Once, he tried to let go of the railing and almost smashed his face onto the railing as the train jerked. =p
We parked at Suntec and boarded the train at Promenade station, going 2 stops down to Stadium station before we got off, walked around a little and headed back. Short ride, but good enough for lil Wayne.
Mommy was pretty impressed with the stations. Looked rather modern and futuristic, an improvement over the ones mommy is used to along the North East line. Frequency was terrible though, we had to wait a good 10 minutes before the train arrived. Far too long for what they claim as word class transportation.
